221m cubic meters of water-saturated sand removed from new Suez Canal

A total of 221.569 million cubic meters of water-saturated sand have so far been lifted by 39 dredgers at the new Suez Canal lane project, head of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish said.
The figure represents 85.88% of the target of 258,000 million cubic meters, he said.
