1600 post offices to pay Suez Canal certificates' returns

Head of the Post Authority Khaled Negm said 1,600 post offices nationwide will pay the returns for Suez Canal certificates for nearly 20,000 customers.
In press statements on Tuesday, Negm said that the move came to ease the suffering of the customers.
The certificates were offered at EGP 10, EGP 100, and EGP 1,000 with a five year maturity period. The majority of the investment certificates were purchased by individuals, with only 10% purchased by institutions.
