114m cubic meters of sand lifted from Canal project

A senior official in charge of the New Suez Canal project on Sunday said that 114 million cubic meters of sand have been lifted till now.
Digging rates have increased after the number of companies working in the project has reached 81, Brigadier Hassan Afifi, the assistant of general supervisor of the Suez project, told MENA.
All available efforts are being exerted to complete the project in timely manner and in perfect way, he said.
