Skincare specialist brand SkinCeuticals has announced the launch of the Advanced Pigment Corrector. Caused by UV exposure, hormonal fluctuations and inflammation, skin can develop discolourations. Extending below skin’s surface, these discolourations are stubborn and deeply rooted making them susceptible to reoccurrence, even when following treatment. The Advanced Pigment Corrector has been developed to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation, help to fade the appearance of stubborn pigmentation, skin tone evenness appears improved and luminosity is enhanced for renewed radiance. Ingredients such as: yeast extract targets the fibroblast to enhance skin’s resistance against newly forming pigment; ellagic acid blocks excess melanin production; hydroxyphenoxy propionic acid inhibits melanin transfer; and salycic acid exfoliates spots and enhances penetration.
