The festival of fresh and dry dates in Qatar, organized by the Agriculture and Research Department at the Ministry of Environment in cooperation with Mahaseel date production company, came to a close on Saturday at Ezdan Mall

The festival, which was held by the ministry for the first time and coincided with the date harvest season, aimed at enhancing the production of dates and boost the quality of garden fresh and dry dates. It highlighted the nutritional values of dates and the need to include the fruit in the daily menu of people.
Head of the Agriculture and Research Department Massoud Jarallah Al Marri had said that the next edition of the festival will be held next year.
