Bahrain takes part in Arab Arts Festival in China

Bahrain has participated in the Arab Arts Festival, hosted by China from September 10 to 16.
Culture Minister Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, who is leading the Kingdom’s delegation to the festival, affirmed the importance of the Silk Road Festival in the old city of Xi’an, which, like the Bahrain Fort, boasts a history of 5,000 years.
Arab Culture Ministers, senior Chinese culture and museums officials, as well as Arab and Chinese media persons attended the opening ceremony of the event.
The Ministry of Culture screened a film in English and Arabic on the kingdom’s traditional clothes and handicrafts.
