
The Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) held a Turkish music concert for Palestinians on Thursday in Jerusalem. A group called Istanbul Solists carried on the spirit of a night for Palestinians in East Jerusalem to remember. The group vocalized outstanding Turkish songs and Islamic hymns in Turkish and Arabic. TIKA Vice President Sureyya Er said TIKA has provided services for education and health since 2005 and the concerts within the scope of TIKA's activities in Jerusalem and Palestine had a different vision. Palestinian Culture Minister Enver Ebu Iyse also attended the concert and thanked the Turkish singers and added that Jerusalem is the cultural capital of the Arab world.
