QatArt handicraft market opens at Katara

The eighth day of QarArt Handmade Market opens here Friday at Katara Art Studios Courtyard.
Katara is displaying a wide variety of handicrafts in collaboration with QatArt. This series, launched in October 2014, concludes with the last show on March 20.
Item's made by Qatar's handicrafts community include jewellery, accessories, paintings, illustrations, graphic design, craft kits, bags, clothes, home decors and accessories, photography, handcrafted cards and boxes, to homemade food and party supplies.
Visitors can participate in workshops and crafting activities, event organisers said. The event is open to public for free.
