
A jury meeting for the International Emmy Awards will be hosted by Abu Dhabi on Monday, organised by the international academy of television arts and sciences.
This year's edition will include TV series participation from Latin American countries in addition to the Best Actor Award for TV serials from European countries. There will also be a jury meeting to assess presented TV serials.
Pyramedia company has also invited a number of U.A.E. and European movie makers and producers to join the jury and to evaluate participating works.
Nashwa Al Ruwaini, CEO of Pyramedia company, pointed out Abu Dhabi is hosting this activity in its fifth edition under the sponsorship of Pyramedia, the media production company and the Media Zone Authority.
She added that this Monday shall witness the participation of a number of U.A.E. and Arab actors and media representatives as part of the jury. She added that the Emmy Awards was keen to include Abu Dhabi on the list of cities that host these meetings, after several successful meetings, with the first edition in 2010 held in Abu Dhabi for the categories of drama and news programmes.
In 2011, Abu Dhabi hosted the categories of drama and documentaries, and in 2012 it hosted the documentary category for Latin America.
