South Korean Catholics make overnight trek to beatification site

Hundreds of thousands of Catholics from all over South Korea traveled to a plaza in central Seoul where a landmark ceremony to beatify early martyrs was held on Saturday.
The visiting pontiff presided over the ceremony to beatify 124 of Korea's ancient martyrs, a ceremony normally presided over by special papal envoys.
