South Korean Foreign Minister Kim Sung-hwan ramped up his country's bid on Friday to host the United Nations body for a climate fund, citing Seoul's efforts to expand green growth as a global agenda. Six nations -- South Korea, Germany, Mexico, Namibia, Poland and Switzerland -- are bidding to host the Secretariat of the Green Climate Fund (GCF), which will manage US$100 billion in offering aid to help developing nations adapt to climate change from 2020. A selection will be made at the end of this year.
