Oklahoma blaze contained, wildfire risk still high

A wildfire that prompted evacuations in Oklahoma has been contained, officials said Monday. The Freedom Hill Fire Department said the blaze that flared up near Mannford, Oklahoma is still burning but has been contained. Officials said cooler temperatures and light rain overnight helped slow the fire, which scorched over 145 square kilometers Sunday. The risk of wildfires remains very high as there is the potential for high temperatures Monday, AP quoted the National Weather Service as saying. However, the agency said rain is predicted later in the week.
