The second phase of an EU-funded project to develop the capabilities of the Jordan Nuclear Regulatory Commission (JNRC) was launched on Wednesday. In the second phase, the commission’s strategic plan will be modernised, while a plan to train JNRC cadres will be developed, Sharaf highlighted, noting that the commission had managed in the first phase to draw up a preliminary draft for nuclear safety and review sector regulations.
