Munich railway station hit by storm Niklas

A part of Munich railway station's roof was blown away on Tuesday afternoon by storm Niklas, which raged across Germany and forced disruption of traffic in some parts of the country.
People at the railway station have to be evacuated for fear of possible danger caused by the storm, according to local media Bavarian Radio.
Roads to the station have already been blocked by local police.
At present, the storm has made it impossible for trains to arrive or depart at the station, according to Bavarian Radio. Long-distance railway traffic has been completely canceled in Bavaria and a major railway line connecting Munich to Augsburg was suspended in the morning due to storm damage.
People were asked to stay indoors as heavy winds have forced the cancellation of public events in many places. Niklas also leads to the closure of markets and parks.
According to German weather service, DWD, Niklas was one of the strongest storms to hit the country in recent years, with gusts of up to 150 kilometers per hour.
