Khanun storm approaches south Korean coasts

The Korea Meteorological Administration warned the population of the southern coasts of Cheju island from the approaching Khanun hurricane coming from the north. According to Radio Korea, the Administration forecasts that Cheju island and southern coastal areas would be directly exposed to this tropical storm as of today. The medium-density Khanun is also expected to reach the northern parts of the island, and pass through the western areas in the evening before heading to the north towards the Yellow Sea early Thursday. The impact of the hurricane will disappear completely Thursday afternoon, the Administration added.
