International islamic relief organization digs 970 water wells

The International Islamic Relief Organization of Muslim World League dug 970 artesian and shallow water wells in many Asian and African countries a total cost of SR 8,729,745 during the past year.
The Organization's Secretary-General Ihsan bin Saleh Tayyib said that these wells contributed to the transformation of vast areas of arid land to agricultural fields benefitting as many as 253,131 people.
