The earthquake hit Iran and Pakistan last Tuesday destroyed 3,000 houses in Mashkel, Pakistan's border province with Iran. Officials said a total of 19,000 people were reported to be in need of shelter and wait for help. Pakistan National Disaster Management Agency said thousands were in urgent need of help and since it was an underdeveloped desert area, aid materials could only be sent by military helicopters. Civil aid organizations have not reached the region yet. Military sent a large scale of search & rescue team and a field hospital was established in the region. A total of 36 people got killed, 150 others were injured in Pakistan at the magnitude-7.8 earthquake hit Iran and Pakistan on April 16. Islamabad administration hasn't replied to the offers of international agencies yet.
