Manama - BNA

As part of Bahrain World Trade Center’s (BWTC) continuous efforts to boost emergency preparedness and augment safety and security measures at the Kingdom’s iconic tower, an Earthquake Safety Training session was held at the Sheraton Hotel on 26th May 2013. The training session, which is the first of its kind to be held for high-rise buildings in the Kingdom of Bahrain was attended by more than 45 representatives from the BWTC tenants and aimed to increase awareness about the importance of disaster preparedness. The one-day training was conducted by Wail Alajlan, General Manager of Top Safety Strategy Solutions (TSSS) in two sessions and participants were awarded certificates upon completion. As part of the training session, the participants received valuable guidelines on how to identify potential hazards, how to create a Disaster Action Plan, and work with readiness to handle the situation.
