5.0-magnitude quake hits Punta Cana

An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted 102km NE of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic at 21:56:49 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The epicenter, with a depth of 43.0 km, was initially determined to be at 19.284 degrees north latitude and 67.774 degrees west longtitude.
