A man was killed and six people were wounded in a gunfight between two families in the Upper Egyptian city of Luxor on Tuesday.
A quarrel erupted between two families in a village in Luxor but later it degenerated into a gun fight and police rushed to contain the situation.
Security forces cordoned off the village to prevent any escalation.
