Barkha: Style is about being true to yourself

"From a very young age I was intrigued by the world of fashion" says Barkha Shewakramani, the stylish fashion designer and entrepreneur whose chic fashion label Drama Queen continues to wow. The label came into prominence in 2007 and was launched in Dubai. "Coming from a rich cultural background, I was always surrounded by beautiful fabrics like brocade lace and raw silk," she adds. Talking about her label Drama Queen, which has flourished over the past five years, Barkha said: "Drama Queen label epitomises the modern woman and her search for affordable and versatile clothes. Every girl in her own way is full of drama and emotion. She has a longing to be treated like a princess, and every garment of mine makes her feel like a queen."
