The football event for the secondary schools (boys) at the sixth Schools Olympic Program (SOP) under the theme “ Sports and Investment” featured strong performance from students at the QFA technical playgrounds on Wednesday.
In Wednesday’s fixtures, Doha School thrashed Syrian School 9-0, Doha Indian School outclassed Bright Future 1-0, Dar Al-Salam defeated Middle East 3-0, Mohammed bin Abdelwahab school thrashed Egyptian School 6-0 and Birla Public School defeated Cairo 3-0.
In the North Doha Area, Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Mane school thrashed Hamad bin Abdullah 2-0, Religious Institute beat Campus school 3-0, Ibn Taimeah outclassed London International 3-0, Nasser bin Abdullah Al-Attiyiah defeated Commerce Secondary school 3-0 and Jassim bin Hamad overcome Lebanese school 3-0.
In an impressive sport scene, the Children Athletics Festival of the Schools Olympic Program (SOP) under the theme “ Sports and Investment” kicked off at Qatar SC playgrounds on Wednesday.
Around 8 boy schools including Al-Muntazeh, Pakistan Shama, Dar Al-Salam, Aqra English school, Bright Future, Indian Islamic school, Dukhan and Royal international beside 5 girl schools , Khadeega, Al-Huda, Al-Noor , Lokair and Pakistan Education Center participated in the prestigious Festival on Wednesday.
Mr. Khalid Al-Magid, the Festival Supervisor lauded the students high response to the Event, said that student have competed in peace and fair atmosphere in several athletics events.
In another sport event, some 177 students representing 41 preparatory schools (boys) competed strongly in the Table-Tennis event at the prestigious Schools Olympic Program on Wednesday.
Wednesday’s competitions braced Ali bin Abi Taleb school and Indian Islamic Schools to reach the final round to be held in the SOP closing ceremony in April. Meanwhile Al-Khor International will shake hands with Abo Baker Al-Sideeq in clash for the third and fourth places .
The secondary schools competitions in Table-Tennis will be concluded on Thursday.
