Secretary general meets international youth and sports officials

His Excellency Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Secretary General of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) met  with a number of senior international youth and sports officials who are currently attending Doha GOALS Forum on Wednesday. In the first meeting , the QOC Secretary General , Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani  met with HE  Tarek Diab,  the  Minister of Youth and Sport of Tunisian Republic at the  Aspire Zone , Doha  on Wednesday Sheikh Saoud greeted the Tunisian sport official and appreciated the distinctive relations  between Qatar and Tunisia in all domains especially in sports sector. For his part, the Tunisian Minister applauded the Qatar’s comprehensive development in the sports infrastructure and its ambitious strategy for progress  in all fields especially sport. Talks during the meeting centered on ways of expanding sports cooperation and exchanging experience between the two nations in the training field. In  a  second  productive meeting, the QOC Secretary General met with HE Mohammed  Ozain, the Minister of Youth and Sports of Kingdom of Morocco . Both officials discussed method of cooperation in sports between the two countries. The Moroccan sport official extended thank and  appreciation to the Qatar movement for its continuous and tangible support to the sport movement in Morocco. On the sideline of Doha GOALS events on Wednesday, HE the  Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the  Secretary General of Qatar Olympic Committee also met with Mr. Vincent Kosi, the representative of Brazilian Sports Ministry with the attendance of the Brazilian Ambassador to Qatar. His Excellency, Sheikh Saoud  greeted the Brazilian guest . Both officials reviewed the strong relations between the two  countries and the mechanisms to support cooperation in  the sport between the two friendly countries. In  the  fourth meeting,  the Qatar Secretary General, HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani  received Mr. Essar Gabriel, the Secretary General of  International  Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF). A range  of issues related with Athletics and  common cooperation,  exchange of expertise and sport programs between the QOC and the  IAAF were discussed a the meeting. All these meetings  were also  attended by Mr. Fisal Saleh Al-Mansoori, Director of Public Relations and Marketing Department at the QOC. From : Qatar Olympic Committee
