The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC), jointly with Qatar Airways, will hold a press conference on Sunday to unveil the national carrier as the London Olympics' sponsor of Qatari athletes. The conference, which will be held at QOC headquarters, will see the two sides sign the sponsorship contract in the presence of QOC Secretary General HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker. Details of the sponsorship deal will be disclosed during the event, in addition to information about a partnership between QOC and Qatar Airways. The two sides share a common interest in sport, with Qatar Airways keen on supporting the different sporting events in Qatar, and QOC promoting them through the carrier. (QNA)
