Qatar Policy has ambitious and long-term vision towards the sports development said HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Secretary General of Qatar Olympic Committee speaking to a session held at the Doha GOALS Forum on Tuesday. Addressing attendees at a productive symposium titled “ Olympiad” in the frame of Doha GOALS forum, the QOC Secretary General focused on the Qatar’s heritage to establishing a solid ground for current and future generation The Secretary General explained and said that “our setback to host the Olympic Games in the 2016 and 2020 respectively, will not stop our growing ambition to tackle the mistakes and host the Olympic Games in the future”. QOC Secretary General voiced that the Aspire Academy is a key and central plan to develop sports in Qatar. We are on course to make Qatar a source of inspiration for all the generations across the world” said Sheikh Saoud. HE Sheikh Saoud also lauded the development in the Qatar women sports, reviewing the significant role played by the women in inspiring youngers to practice sports in their daily life.
