The New Orleans Hornets, with only the fourth-best statistical chance to win the NBA draft lottery, captured the No. 1 selection Wednesday. New Orleans will likely use the top pick June 28 to draft Kentucky freshman Anthony Davis, who leads a deep collection of eligible players in this year's draft. The Charlotte Bobcats turned in the worst winning percentage in the history of the NBA this season and had a 25 percent chance to grab the No. 1 pick. Instead, Charlotte will go second in the draft, followed by Washington and Cleveland. New Orleans, which had the fourth-worst record in the league this year, also has the No. 10 pick in the first round. "We just feel blessed to be in this position," New Orleans Coach Monty Williams said. "It's great for our city and great for the state of Louisiana." All five starters from the Wildcats' national championship team entered the draft this year. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, another Kentucky freshman, is expected to be among the first five players chosen. Other leading prospects include Thomas Robinson of Kansas, Harrison Barnes of North Carolina, Bradley Beal of Florida and Andre Drummond of Connecticut.
