Match Schedule for Men's World Handball Championship announced

The International Handball Federation announced the match schedule for the XXIII Men's World Championship taking place in Spain from 11 to 27 January 2013. The Qatari handball team will begin their campaign in the championship with a match against Denmark on Saturday, 12 January while the second encounter will be against Macedonia on Sunday, 13 January. Qatar will also play three more matches in preliminary round against Russia on Tuesday, 15 January, Chile on Wednesday, 16 January and Iceland on Friday, 17 January. The draw was conducted on Thursday, 19 July 2012, where Qatar will compete in Group (B) alongside Russia, Denmark, Macedonia, Chile  and Iceland. From : Qatar Olympic Committee
