Felix Magath understands the frustrations of the Wolfsburg fans after they called for the coach to be sacked during Saturday's 2-0 defeat by Freiburg. The loss was the Wolves' fourth in a row and they are now rock-bottom of the Bundesliga with just five points from the first eight games. With that record, Magath admits the fans have every right to complain. "After such a performance, we have got to listen to the criticism," he said. "I can absolutely understand the fans' displeasure, which is correct because nobody can be happy after a performance like this. I can absolutely understand the fans' displeasure. Felix Magath, Wolfsburg coach "We have registered it and know we need to play better to avoid things like that in future. All we can do now is move onto the next game and the next points to get away from the bottom." Despite a fifth defeat of the season, Magath still does not fear he will lose his job. "I am sure that my board of directors will give me their backing," he said. "I don't doubt that even after such a day or result." Freiburg coach Christian Streich knows he enjoys the full support of his club after a win which takes them up to seventh in the table. "It is fantastic that we have not conceded for a second game running and rewarded ourselves for another good away match," he said. From Fifa
