NASCAR drive Joey Logano announced Tuesday he will join Penske Racing to drive the No. 22 Ford in the Sprint Cup Series starting next year. Logano will take over for interim driver Sam Hornish Jr., who has been behind the wheel since A.J. Allmendinger was suspended in July for violating NASCAR's substance abuse policy. Penske said Logano has inked a multiyear deal. "I am very excited to join Penske Racing and begin the next phase of my career," Logano said in a statement. "I am looking forward to the opportunity, as it will be an honor to drive for Roger Penske and race for wins and championships." Joe Gibbs Racing announced earlier Tuesday Matt Kenseth would replace Logano as driver of the No. 20 Toyota for the 2013 Sprint Cup season.
