Iranian National Wrestling Team has claimed the top title of the 2011 Asian Junior Wrestling Championship underway in Bangkok, Thailand, from August 6-7. The gold medalists for Iran were Peyman Yar-Ahmadi (58 KG), Ali-Reza Karimi (76 KG), Hatam Ali-Akbarzadeh (85 KG) and Pedram Jamshidi (100 KG). Iman Sadeghi (54 Kg) and Mehran Babaei (63 KG) gained silver and Mohammad Ali Azimi (69 KG) won the fifth title of the category. Based on the report, the bronze medals of the contest were awarded to the Iranian wrestlers Yunos Sarmasti (46 KG) and Hosein Yazdani (50 KG). The free-style competitions of the 2011 Youth Asian Freestyle Wrestling Championship were held in Bangkok on August 7, 2011.
