Tai Cheau Xuen
Incheon - Arab Today

The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) today expelled Malaysia's wushu first gold medallist Tai Cheau Xuen after she failed a drug test, according to the Malaysian News Agency (Bernama).
According to a statement by the organiser, it was the tournament's third doping case in the 17th Asian Games, Incheon South Korea.
OCA said Tai's urine specimen collected on Sept 20 which was under post-competition testing was found to contain Sibutramine, a prohibited substance in the WADA Prohibited List 2014.
After due process according to the rules and procedures of the OCA, it has been determined that the above finding constitutes an anti-doping rules violation.
"As such the following sanctions have been taken. The competitor has been disqualified from the competition as well as these games as such her accreditation was cancelled and her medal withdrawn," the OCA said.
The OCA noted that the findings would be forwarded to the competitor's national authorities, the International Federation of the sport concerned (Asian International Wushu Federations) and the World Anti-Doping Agency for further action on their past as per sanctions concerning eligibility, Bernama reported.
