Giovanissimi round off fantastic league campaign

The Giovanissimi Nazionali have sealed top spot with a 3-0 home win over Cuneo. The rescheduled fixture against bottom side Casale meant that the young Bianconeri had the joy of clinching first place in front of their own public. But it wasn’t all plain sailing for Gabetta’s side, who were required to wait until the second half before breaking the deadlock.  Pozzebon’s penalty added to Clemenza’s double to book a place in the end of season playoffs with a game to spare. The three points rounded off a superb campaign in which the Bianconeri have made their dominance count , registering the best number of victories (20), the least defeats (two), the most prolific attack (86 goals) and most resolute defence (ten goals conceded).
