Brazilian midfielder Paulo Henrique Ganso has signed a five-year deal with Sao Paulo from league rivals Santos for €9 million ($11.7 million), his new club have confirmed. French club Paris Saint-Germain and Premier League sides Arsenal and Manchester United had also been interested in signing the player. However, the 22-year-old's value had dropped dramatically after the Olympic Football Tournament when he played just twice as a substitute because of injury, as Brazil finished runners-up behind suprise winners Mexico. "Ganso no longer wanted to wear our jersey and was sold for 23.94 million Brazilian Reals to Sao Paulo," the selling team added. Ganso had played for the club since 2008
