Just 24 hours after jumping to his eighth win, Freund produced jumps of 132 and 128m for a total of 258.9pts to relegate Japan's Noriaki Kasai to second spot on 254.9.
Slovenian Peter Prevc, who finished second on Saturday, enjoyed a share of third spot with Poland's Olympic champion Kamil Stoch, with both men on 251.5pts.
