The International Ski Federation has banned Thailand's Vanessa Mae from competition for four years after finding her guilty of manipulating results in order to qualify for the Olympics, officials said Tuesday.
FIS investigators concluded that results were manipulated during trials in Slovenia to enable the 35-year-old former violinist, Vanessa Mae Vanakorn, to compete at Sochi, a statement said.
