The Minnesota Vikings and the public board overseeing construction of the team's new stadium announced Friday a firm has been chosen to design the facility. The team and the board announced Friday HKS Inc. of Dallas, which recently designed new stadiums for the Dallas Cowboys and Indianapolis Colts, will design the new stadium in Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported Friday. "I promise we won't let you down," said Mark Williams of HKS. "A few years from now, when we walk in there, it's going to be an absolutely incredible experience that will change people's lives in this state." Lester Bagley, spokesman for the Vikings, said the firm was the most creative of the five finalists and will design "a world-class facility" for the team and its fans.
