Elfsborg slip, Malmo move in

IF Elfsborg missed the chance to go top of the Allsvenskan as they lost 2-1 at IFK Norrkoping today. Marcus Rohden's tenth-minute own goal and a James Frempong effort eight minutes later put the hosts two up. Jon Jonsson pulled a goal back 11 minutes from time, but they could not find an equaliser. Defeat left Elfsborg one point behind leaders BK Hacken and level with Malmo, who were 2-1 winners at Kalmar.
