Cristiano Ronaldo reached the 301 goal mark with his two strikes against Bayern Munchen at the Bernabeu. The Portuguese player netted his first goal as a professional on 3 October 2002 in Sporting Portugal's 3-0 win over Moreirense. Ronaldo has scored 142 goals in 140 games with Real Madrid, averaging 1.01 per match. His strike in the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona in 2011 won the title for the Whites. Cristiano's insatiable goal scoring instincts have allowed him to win the Golden Boot award twice, with 31 goals in the 2007/08 Premier League while at Manchester United, and with a record 40 strikes in the 2010/11 season with Real Madrid. He has a strong chance to win the award again this year, becoming the first player to do so a third time.
