Recent signing Tim Cahill was among the scorers as New York Red Bulls hit back from 2-0 down to beat Portland Timbers in the latest round of Major League Soccer matches. Chinedu Dike and Darlington Nagbe had Portland 2-0 up inside 32 minutes but Kenny Cooper netted within seven minutes of his 36th-minute introduction and Cahill, who only joined the club last month, equalised just before half-time. Heath Pearce then capped an impressive comeback with the 83rd-minute winner, which moves New York to within two points of Eastern Conference leaders Sporting Kansas City. Houston Dynamo drew 2-2 with Columbus Crew. Brad Davis gave Houston the lead but goals either side of half-time from Cole Grossman and Eddie Gaven threatened to turn things around, only for Adam Moffat to level things up eight minutes from time. The Western Conference clash between DC United and Philadelphia Union ended 1-1. Brian Carroll gave Philadelphia an eighth-minute lead but they were pegged back by Amobi Okugo's 71st-minute own goal. There was a fiery end to the contest, with DC United duo Emiliano Dudar and Branko Boskovic and Union's Sheanon Williams all landing red cards. From : Fifa
