Boca Juniors picked up their first victory of the Argentinian Apertura season on Sunday night with a 2-0 home success against Tigre. Cristian Chavez and Lucas Viatri netted the goals in the space of nine minutes just after the hour to give Boca a welcome boost following their 3-0 opening loss at Quilmes. Racing Club and Godoy Cruz also clinched their first three-point hauls after starting the campaign with respective draws against Atletico Rafaela and All Boys. Second-half strikes from Fernando Ortiz and Adrian Centurion earned Racing a 2-0 triumph at Argentinos Juniors.
