Boris Becker, coach of Novak Djokovic
Paris - Arab Today

Boris Becker hopes to continue working as coach to Novak Djokovic with the aim of maintaining the Serb as world number one, the German great told AFP on Wednesday.
"We have a very good relationship. We have built a lot of experience, a lot of trust. We like it very much and we want to continue. That is the plan," explained Becker, who won six Grand Slams during his own career, including three Wimbledons.
Djokovic began working with Becker in January and the partnership has seen him win a second Wimbledon title and reclaim the world number one spot.
"The year has been successful but it's not over yet," underlined Becker, as Djokovic looks to retain the titles he won last year at the Paris Masters and in London.
Becker said holding on to his status as world number one would remain the primary objective for next season, rather than attempting to win Roland Garros, the one Grand Slam title that has so far eluded the 27-year-old.
"Of course he wants to win Roland Garros in the future but that's one of his many goals next year. When you're a tennis player you have many goals, not only one tournament," he said.
"I think the main thing is always the ranking. To stay at the number one position means to be consistent during the whole year and that includes Grand Slams."
Djokovic lost to Rafael Nadal in the final of this year's French Open but has won in Rome, Miami, Indian Wells and recently in Beijing, with Becker seeing signs of improvement in his game.
"When you are back to number one, you want to stay number one. It is a very difficult accomplishment. Only one can have it. To win Wimbledon and be in the final at the French Open was a very good performance but you want always to be better, challenge yourself and improve your game," he added.
"I think Novak is much more comfortable at the net and he finishes the points much quicker. That was an important part."
