Qatar’s Mutaz Essa Barshim occupied the fourth place in the High Jump Competition at Birmingham Diamond League Meet on Sunday. Barshim cleared 2.24 to finish fourth behind the host country’s Robbie Grabarz who won the competition with a height of 2.32, according to Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC). The Olympic champion, Ivan Ukhov of Russia, failed at his first attempt at that height and reserved his two remaining efforts for the next height of 2.35 but found that beyond him to finish second. Third was former Olympic champion, Andrey Silnov of Russia.
