
Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero returned to the starting line-up for his side's Premier League home game with Liverpool on Saturday.
The 27-year-old has not played for City since scoring five goals in a 6-1 home win against Newcastle United on October 3, having sustained a hamstring injury on international duty with Argentina.
City forward Raheem Sterling was also named in the starting XI in his first encounter with his former club.
Daniel Sturridge returned to the Liverpool squad after seven games out with a knee problem, but was only fit enough for a place on the bench.
Fellow striker Christian Benteke was also named on the bench by visiting manager Jurgen Klopp, with Roberto Firmino starting up front.
