We freed 90% of Tikrit

Iraqi Interior Minister Mohammed Salem al Ghabban underlined that the Iraqi armed forces control the military situation in the country.
The forces will resume the liberation of Tikrit from the control of Daesh terrorist organization, he noted.
It also gave a chance for the civilians to leave Tikrit to protect their lives, the infrastructure and decrease the losses of the armed forces.
The armed forces liberated 90 percent of Tikrit, al Ghabban underscored.
The minister's remark came during his meeting with Salaheddine governor after he inspected the operation sector in the province.
