Egypt backs political solutions in Syria, Libya

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said Egypt has a clear stand backing the political process in Syria and Libya to restore stability in the two Arab states and maintain the unity of the lands.

In an interview with TV channel Good Morning Egypt on Wednesday, Shoukry said Egypt coordinates stances with key players; namely the US, Russia and European states, as regards Syria and Libya conflicts.

Shoukry said Egypt props up the political solution in Libya and the United Nations efforts to end the suffering of the Syrians.

He underlined the importance of adopting a unified international vision on ending conflicts and terror in Libya and Syria.
