
Libyan Constitution Drafting Assembly (CDA) member Al-Hadi Abu-Hemra confirmed that the Bayda administrative court ruling annulling amendments of the bylaws of voting on constitutional articles is "unconstitutional".
The ruling is beyond the administrative court's jurisdiction, he said in statements to MENA correspondent on Thursday.
He said the administrative court has no authority on the CDA decisions.
The CDA has challenged the ruling at the supreme court, he said, adding that the ruling will be declared as "null and void".
He noted that the court ruling will delay a referendum on the constitution, cautioning that this would lead to civil wars, conflicts and foreign interference.
