Bolivia goalkeeper Hugo Suarez will miss Tuesday's 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ qualifier at home to Uruguay in La Paz after having surgery following a bout of appendicitis, the Bolivian Football Federation (FBF) has said. "It was an appendicitis and he was operated on last night," said FBF spokesman Javier Silva. Bolivia's Spanish coach Xabier Azkargorta will play Sergio Galarza in Suarez's place, media reports said. South American champions Uruguay will be out to consolidate their hopes of qualifying as they try to put distance between themselves and nearest rivals, fifth-placed Chile and sixth-placed Venezuela, following demoralising losses in Colombia (4-0) and Argentina (3-0).
