Iran defeated China 3-1 on Thursday and claimed Asian Men's Volleyball Championship's title for the first time.In the final match played at Tehran's Azadi Hall, the Iranian outfit, after losing the first set 22-25, outclassed China 25-18, 25-19 and 25-16 in three successive sets. South Korea stood third by defeating Australian volleyball team 3-1 in Tehran. South Koreans won the first, third and the forth sets 25-22, 26- 24 and 25-20 respectively. Australia won the second set 25-16. Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in separate messages extended their congratulations to the Iranian national volleyball team and the entire nation on the achievement.
