Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal has included three new faces in his preliminary squad for the upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ qualifiers against Estonia and Romania. Feyenoord duo Jean Paul Boetius and Tonny Vilhena and Utrecht defender Mike van der Hoorn have all been handed their first call-ups to the Oranje squad. Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder returns to the 26-man group having sat out last month's friendly draw with Italy, along with goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg and Rafael van der Vaart. The Netherlands, who have yet to drop a point in qualifying Group D, face Estonia in the Amsterdam ArenA on 22 March before meeting Romania at the same venue four days later.
