World No. 1 Victoria Azarenka maintained her perfect run in 2012 but Caroline Wozniacki slipped a little further in the world women's tennis rankings. Azarenka beat No. 2-ranked Maria Sharapova 6-2, 6-3 Sunday for the championship at Indian Wells, Calif. That ran her 2012 record to 23-0 and four titles. She's lost just five sets this year. Wozniacki was the defending champion by Indian Wells but fell in the Round of 16 this year for a net loss of 860 rankings points. That dropped her from fourth to No. 6 in the rankings. Azarenka has amassed 9,703 points and is No. 1 for a 10th week. Sharapova has 7,930 points and is second ahead of No. 3 Petra Kvitova, who has 7,170. Agnieszka Radwanska (5,960) is up one place this week to a career-best No. 4 and Samantha Stosur (5,825) is fifth. Wozniacki has 5,410 points. Marion Bartoli (4,710) remains in the No. 7 spot with, in order, Li Na (4,635), Vera Zvonreva (4,340) and Andrea Petkovic (3,800) completing the Top 10.
